Ask Your Employer

Contact your current or previous employer's payroll or HR department to request a replacement P60. They are legally required to keep records for several years and should be able to provide you with a copy.

Use Your Personal Tax Account

If you cannot get a replacement P60 from your employer, you can access your personal tax account on the HMRC website to view or print the information that was on the P60. Here’s how you can do it:

Log in to your personal tax account on the HMRC website.

Navigate to the section that displays your PAYE information.

You should be able to find the details of your P60, which you can print or save as a PDF for your records

Contact HMRC

If you are unable to retrieve the information from your employer or through your personal tax account, you can contact HMRC directly. You will need to ask for the information that was on your P60. Here’s how to reach out to HMRC:

    • Provide them with your National Insurance number and other personal details for verification.
